Wedding decor: rustic floral meets industrial
Cherry red and gorgeous greens with dollops of cream. That is the perfect palette I chose for my wedding decor. Almost 10 weeks ago I walked down the aisle in the most beautiful, dreamy day! The backdrop was a manor house, here in Portugal, with six centuries of existence, full of vegetation and lovely nooks. It lies in the middle of a valley, surrounded by a forest. Exactly what we were looking for!
The ceremony was in a place surrounded by trees where we decided to put hanging decoration. However we kept everything simple and airy. At the appetizer venue, the decor tended more towards the industrial style. One of our favorite details was the bottle ladder, where we wrote the lunch menu. The reception had pendant lights over the long tables, with dark glass bottles and lots of flowers.
By the end of the night, we cut the cake and made a sparkler send off. It was a magical moment that we will never forget! I designed all the stationery. The decor was thought out and planned by me and executed by the venue staff. I could not have done everything without them and without the help of my husband! Planning a wedding in five months is not easy. If this is your case, stay strong! Everything will be great, and it will be worth it.
I hope this post was inspiring and helpful in some way. I had lots of fun going through the wedding pics!
