Finally dedicated the time to give my home an entryway ! Slowly but surely, I’ve been pulling together our little house. There are many spaces that still need an upgrade, but this time this was the place that I have focused on.
We really needed a space to empty our pockets and hang our coats when we come home. This is a simple, clean and functional style and really budget friendly.
If you entered our home before, this would be what you’d see:
Just a blank, boring space (and a cute puppy!). We would normally put all of our things over the table or on the sofa. Eventually we would have just the most random things hanging all over the place, and always trying to find our important stuff.
As you can see, this was quite easy and fast. I love our new plant and the lamp, which was only 14€! Such a bargain.
This little tray from H&M Home is perfect for holding keys and change. The mirror brings light and it’s perfect to have that last minute look at you and checking if everything is ok. (You know, that lipstick bit on your teeth does not look cool, that’s why this is important).
Now we have a place for our records, and the storage we needed to keep our dog’s stuff. One of the basket contains slippers for when we take off our shoes, which is super convenient.
For now this is how I’m leaving it. In the winter I’m planning to put the plant on the left side and get a little stool for the right. This will make it easier to take off our winter shoes and boots. Also trying to find a cool tall basket to put our umbrellas in. But for now, this is it! And we are loving how our entryway turned out!
Most of the things here are from Ikea, if you want to see another post featuring their stuff check out this post- IKEA HACKS: THE BEST ONES!
Wish you all the best and see you soon!
