Our little office here at home is in much need for love and attention. So I made a plan! A bit of muted green paint, a few artworks and a new rug can go a long way, trust me.
Our office decorating and organizing plan
As we have a really tight budget, we have to work with what we own. No furniture will be replaced, we will paint it. For the artworks I’ll do them myself. With the money we have for this project, we will buy a new rug and some accessories to make the room have more interest.
So before sharing more thoughts about what is going to happen, I’ll show some before pictures:
As you can see things are laying all over the place, and everything looks cluttered and unappealing. Plus I would just throw the most random objects in the shelvings because I didn’t have anywhere else to put them.
When we arrived to this home I dreamed about all the things I could do with and in this space, like it would be my special working room in the house. But now, when I need to work, this is certainly not the place I go to. I end up with my laptop at the dining table most of the times.
Here are some inspiration pictures:

So I want to make our office fresh and organized, the best place for me to get creative. Also I want it to feel warmer and cozy, because it gets cold there in the winter. As it is a small space, I’ll come up with some organizing solutions for the thing I need, but mostly this place needs a good purge like I did when organizing my closet.
The plan is traced, so let’s get our hands dirty and start making that design board come to life!
See you next time!
